If it has a nice easy API i'll consider it, thanks for the feedback.
-
So i'm also perplexed because my extension does not actually have access to all sites. Proof is when you try installing the extension you should be presented with this... give it a try
-
@TangoAirO Yes sorry my statements here are also only related to personal calendars not shared calendars - as you can see from the permission sets they have not given me access to those specific permissions. You've done well to contact Google about …
-
I have using a microformat to import facebook events, when you visit a fb event page and open the calendar popup window it will automatically detect the event details for quick adding. However, not sure how prominent this is on other websites.
-
interesting suggestion, i'll see what I can do, thank you.
-
I will take note of this but since this looks like an edge case, I don't want to overload the options unless many are requesting this.
-
@TangoAirO Well some good news, is that given the feedback from @AmandaColeman I have just reduced the permissions in my latest extension version. Previously the permission were read/write access to the calendars themselves, like deleting them. But …
-
It does not, your screenshot shows that the allow on all websites is disabled! Only the mail.google.com is enabled.
-
Refer to this https://jasonsavard.com/wiki/Auto-detect_sign_in_issues are you using the default auto-detect method?
-
Can you send me a screenshot of the dnd enabled and a notification.
-
Not available, refer to this https://jasonsavard.com/forum/discussion/2405/google-calendar-reminder-integration#latest

Have you tried reinstalling the extension? So it should look like this...
-
To be precise the draft is only saved within the context of the extension's popup window. You will not find it Gmail website.
-
It's working for me, how much text did you write and how quickly did you move away? try again by typing a few words then wait a few seconds and click away.
-
The logic for voice reading is this... If you receive several simultaneous emails it will only read the first one (I think) If you receive several emails in the same thread - it will only read the subject the first time and then only read the email …

correct about the checkmark. and yes this could be memory related, as my extension must use the memory to remember the checked items. another issue could be too many events or recurring events that are filling up the memory, but we'll get to that if…
-
Have you changed the default view back to the Checker Plus permanently now? and are you saying that when you close and open the Checker Plus window that there is no background image saved?
-
So I'm aware of one issue related to timezone changes that might reset the last notifications. Have you possibly changed timezone or the times in any way on your computer etc?
-
ah interesting you are using non-default Inbox view which doesn't seem to work with the background image, try the default Checker Plus view instead, i will note this is a bug, thanks for the feedback.
-
ah sorry i'll have to fix the redirect in Firefox to this page instead https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings thanks for the details and the feedback, this will help others soon also.
-
another good suggestion, as I noticed unlike other webpages, Google Docs has it's own right click menu, so you can't see the regular right click menu which would allow you to do this https://jasonsavard.com/wiki/Add_the_current_browser_tab_to_your_c…

Great question, from time time Google changes these messages that allows developers to fine tune the minimal permissions required for an extension to function. I will revisit the permissions and see if I can have the user opt-in to lesser common fun…

Do you get notifications on other devices for your calendar events? like your phone? Have you set notifications for each event or calendar in your google calendar?
-
That's quite the argument :) you sold me on the idea with just the title of this thread, lol. I'll queue this for development.
-
Let's try reinstalling the extension ,and use the deafult options. Then if the issue persists well continue searching.
-
yes correct, and which Desktop notification option are you using? Popup Windows, Rich notification or Text notificaiton?
-
Do you have any suggestion for quick settings to choose from? for instance instance compact? and what would that represent?
-
Interesting it would seem that Firefox option disables the ability for extensions to save to options. I'll see if there's a solution, other than obviously reverting that Firefox option.
-
ah ok so the test works, it just your actually calendar events that are not triggering notifications, that one is more complicated because there are all sorts of reasons your calendar events maybe not have reminders set them for them or for their as…

Try restarting the browser or reinstalling the extension. Let me know which one works.
