Checker Plus for Microsoft Outlook

Would love to have a checker plus for Outlook web on Google Chrome. Hate having to check my outlook email multiple times a day just to open it and have no new emails.

Comments

  • Me too... I hate to keep outlook open but I'd like to be notified about emails and calendar appointments

  • Add for outlook please Jason

"Checker Plus for Outlook", we need this Jason!

The extension "Notifier for Outlook" never changes the unread number, updates like after a quarter or so.

  • I would love to have this feature, and would happily pay more for it.

  • Please Add This!

  • My company moved from Google Apps to Office 365.

If you can, please make your extensions (esp. calendar) compatible with M$

    Thx

  • +1 it would be great to have checker plus for outlook

  • Another +1 an outlook integration would be awesome for checker plus.

  • Another one +1

  • I can agree with that. An outlook integration would be awesome for checker plus.

  • Please give us this :'(

  • Plus one for this extension. There is an existing Outlook Mail Checker extension but it doesn't work, especially with work/school accounts. Would love the Calendar extension to also work with Outlook calendar

  • Plus one for this extension.

  • Badly needed Checker Plus for Outlook +1

    Please do :)

  • @LuisVillela Just curious have you tried Outlook browser extension? What are your thoughts on it.

  • Hi Jason,

I think that you're reaching critical mass on this request. I was going to suggest modifying your Checker Plus for Gmail to handle other email accounts - if that's possible. I have 2 gmail and a yahoo account. Obviously, I can't get the yahoo email with your extension - but would love to.

I just tried the Outlook extension. I don't know if it's supposed to work for my yahoo mail. Anyways, the extension only has 2.5 stars for 100+ reviews - not a good score.

I have already contributed $20. And if your extension keeps working great for my gmail, I would most likely contribute more for the extended capability.

@justrob There are 2 options you can do right now to get your Outlook emails in Checker Plus:

    1) Link the Outlook account to an existing Gmail account: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6304825

    2) Setup a new Gmail account and link Outlook to that one.

With auto-detect Checker Plus will automatically pickup the accounts and emails.

  • Thanks much Jason. I will look into this.

  • lol wow @Jason this is the biggest slap in the face to everyone who posted before March 28th. Please explain why LuisVillela and justrob receives direct @ responses but no one else does especially after 4 years when the original suggestion was made.

  • @NinjaLynn well the requests kept piling up and to be honest I wasn't sure these proposed solutions would appease everyone. Have you tried them?

@Dat Dinhquoc @John Sen @shemul Polling a couple others in this thread, have you tried my solutions below? let me know what you think.

With auto-detect Checker Plus will automatically pickup the accounts and emails.

  • @Jason I have not tried this with Outlook, but I have other email accounts where I forward emails from one account to another, and I assume linking the accounts would also work.

In my case, I am using Outlook for work and I did not want to link the account to Gmail.

I have reverted to just have outlook always open in a tab, and pin that tab in my browsers. It will show the count of my Outlook un-red emails in that pinned tab.

  • @John Sen Thanks for the input you are correct with the similar to forwarding. Alternatively you could try method #2 whereby you create a new Google account dedicated only to your work Outlook email, example: create john.sen.outlook@gmail.com and have your Outlook forward to that email. Checker Plus would detect it and you could have all your Gmail and Outlook accounts in one place in Checker Plus.

  • @Jason I've tried outlooks extension.. it's just meh and decides when it wants to work. I'm unable to forward to GMail due to the account being a work email.

  • @NinjaLynn are you able to access your work email via pop or imap?

  • @Jason Unfortunately no, I've tried a few times in the past but it's never worked.
