Checker Plus not working on Chromebook

On my Chromebook the extension stopped working since yesterday or so. The extension is not signed in, and after signing in manually the Not-signed-in status does not change. I tried removing and re-installing the extension and rebooting the Chromebook, to no avail. Version is 13.13. 
In the chrome browser on my Ubuntu laptop the extension works fine, also version 13.13.. I use(d) the extension very much and would love to see it working again.

    I just cleared the cache of the browser on the Chromebook and that solved the problem. All is well again. This case can be closed. Thanks
