A Way to Decrease Size of "Inbox" Window

I absolutely LOVE the new Inbox design, but it's too big for my preferences. Is it possible for me to decrease the size of the window to about the size of the original "Checker Plus" design?

Hmm there is one current way of doing it under the "Display" tab and you can put 75% for the "Popup window zoom:" Auto --25%50%75%100%110%125%150%200%

by the way, would it be possible to search an old email from the new inbox?

Just click the magnifying glass in the inbox view and it should be able to search all your emails old or new
