Is there a way of the notification I get on my pc bottom right hand corner of staying there until I goto the relevant email. By the way I have it set to 25 at the moment but the never doesn't seem to be working ?

Options > Notifications > Close After > Never

This might be a Firefox only issue. Do other Firefox notifications from other extension stay forever?

I think the never disappearing notifications on Firefox is maybe not possible because it's the same code as on Chrome so it should work if it's supported.

Ok thank you I will have to put up with the 25 then.
