Extension doesn't work in Ubuntu

I have the following setup:
Extension installed in Chrome / macOS + installed in Chrome / Ubuntu 16.04.
The Ubuntu installation doesn't seem to collect notifications.
It might be something related to Ubuntu, or to the fact that I have the extension twice with the same Google user.

    Use the Extension options > Bell icon to test the notification and let me know if that works?

    I apologize, the ticket is invalid.
    It was my mistake in the configuration.
    I understood "No notifications" as "No desktop notifications", which is obviously wrong (note the title does refer to desktop notifications) because, in order to get silent notifications, one needs to choose "show notifications" and mark them as silent in the hidden check boxes.
