Icon upper right Chrome does NOT NOTIFY of received mails even when android phone chimes and receive
Nothing received in the icon upper right. Even on refresh. On phone, received with chime. Extension does not work for most important feature!

Are you monitoring the inbox or primary label? try sending yourself an email.
Oh I see, it all works. Actually the verification pin was not an email but a text message. that is why appeared on phone )
