Problem with notification pop up - pushes notification twice every time

I love this extension... thank you! However, there is one bug that is driving me bananas. The pop up notification that appears 9 min before the event always pops up twice in a matter of 20 seconds or less.
I cannot see where to adjust or control this.

Can you verify you don't have to 2 instances of the extension installed. This might happen if you different profiles or browsers, ie. Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
I do have 2 chrome profiles. So that is the problem? @Jason
Try disabling the extension from 1 of the profiles.
