Option to delete current instance of recurring event on reminder popup.

I have several recurring events and it would be very convenient to be able to delete the current instance of a recurring event from the popup reminder window instead of having to do so from either Google Calendar or the Checker Plus main dropdown window. I wouldn't even need the prompt for "Only This Instance"...etc, just delete the instance tne notice is about would be just fine. In fact that would be most optimal IMO.

Please let me know if you would like any additional information.

Thank you for this wonderful extension. It already makes my calendar so much easier to manage.

  • Have you tried unchecking this option?

Also if you use the Delete button let me know how it reacts to deleting recurring event?

  • Already unchecked.

The delete option is available for single instance calendar events. The issue is that the delete option is not available for recurring calendar events.

  • thanks for the screenshot, ok I can queue this for development, i'll most probably prompt for deleting all or just the instance to be consistent with the other checker plus window behaviour.

  • Thanks. Let me know if you need more information.

  • I see you added this. Works great. Thank you.

  • Glad you noticed 🙂

  • I don't know if this is the right place to post this or if I should create a new ticket.

First, thank you for this feature, it has made recurring events much more convenient to manage.

There is a minor issue with the new popup. Even though the "This event" option IS used as the default when you click OK, it doesn't show the radio item as selected.

Clicking OK does use the first item (This event) by default so this is a cosmetic issue only.

  • Can you let me know which skin & themes you are using within the extension?

  • Follow me thumb: Hide

    Theme: Dark

  • Hmm it's working for me. I noticed the spacing between lines seems different from your screenshot. Any other screen, font, zoom, system or browser extensions that might be affecting visuals.

    I do not.

  • Correction. I do have "DarkReader" but I don't think that would affect this because if I disable the Theme: Dark, the calendar shows up as the normal light theme.

    With the Theme: Dark disabled.

Going to try with DarkReader disabled next.

  • Same thing with DarkReader disabled. I even restart CheckerPlus to make sure there wasn't anything lingering..

  • Ah, you are in the context of the "reminder" window, not the "popup" window from the button toolbar, that's probably it, ok i'll investigate it, thanks.

  • Yes. Correct. The "reminder" window. The delete from the normal "popup" window shows correctly.
