Enable / disable calendars for icon notifications
Hello,
Checker Plus rules.
Can you add an option to select which calendars to include in the "time to next appointment" icon notification (below)? I like to see all my calendars when I click the icon (so I know what I and Wife are doing) but I only want the notifications for my own events.
Would def be happy for this to be a pay feature.
Cheers,
Jack

Interesting, should we assume that if you disabled notifications for particular calendars that you also don't want to see them on the icon countdown?
Can you verify your options .. notifications .. calendar checkmarks and see if I were to add this new logic that it would work for you.
Thanks for writing!
Yes I think if the notifications are unchecked in this area, then I'd like for them to not be considered in the icon countdown. Then when I click the icon I could still see the calendars I have selected from the upper left menu?
So the new logic would be below, let me know if they would work.
if checked in notifications + selected in calendar = show button countdown
if not checked in notifications + selected in calendar = hide button countdown
if checked in notifications + not selected in calendar = hide button countdown
if not checked in notifications + not selected in calendar = hide button countdown
Thanks! This will certainly solve my problem; I initially wondered about the third one (should be show?) but I think what you wrote will be more intuitive.
Good news is fixed in the latest version 30.1
Although I had some complaints already so I might have to make this an option in a future update.
FYI this is coming down the pipeline in a future update, so you'll have to opt-in once it becomes available.
Awesome, thanks for the feature, it works great!
Before I checked up on this I have to say I was confused in the notifications section, as it looked more like a place to edit the default notifications for new events in google calendar, and I wasn't sure how this interacted with the checkbox on the left (like was I enabling this extension to override the default calendar behavior for event management or what).
I'm not sure how to fix the confusion or if it happens to other people, but I might suggest changing the text "Notifications for calendars" to "Checker Plus notifications" so that it's clear that what you're doing is just telling Checker Plus what to notify and how.
Anyway, minor issue, probably just my sleep deprivation. Great app.
