You mean notify you of old unread messages, I'll take note of this, but this sounds difficult to program and with many variables of how old and frequent etc.
Whether it will be difficult to disable the first alert and leave only the second one. You already have a re-alert function. So it's easy to make sure that the first one is ignored and the second one is notified.
