Extension icon keeps being "hidden"
Hi,
I have a few extensions "pinned" in Chrome, and Checker Plus for Gmail is one of them. However, I'm not sure when and why, I see the extension icon keeping disapearing, and when I press my assigned shortcut, it appears and stays there for a while.
I was wondering if this is something related to Chrome itself, or the extension. The reason I'm suspecting it has something to do with the extension is that the other ones are always staying there

Can you give me more details on the pattern, does it disappear when it is supposed to animate when you get a new email?
When does the icon return?
Can you go in the extension options .. button tab and try the test the "show icon animation" play icon.
Note that if the icon does not return at all you can try restarting the browser.
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, TBH, I'm not sure when it disappears. I have the habbit of checking the icon every once in a while, and when doing that, suddenly I see it's gone.
I have assigned a keyboard shortcut like this:
And when the icon disappears, it's enough to use the shortcut (Alt+G) to bring it back
Of course it's not a huge deal breaker, but just wanted to see if we can figure out what the issue is
Well one trick is you can send yourself an email and see if that new email animation is what triggers the disappearance.
Unfortunately, I can't find a reliable way to re-create the issue, and it seems like sometimes the a couple of other extensions are hidden as well, so maybe it's a Chrome issue.
