Firefox does not allow the use of Rich Text notifications in Calendar but does in Gmail extension

Google Calendar:

^ Calendar

In the Firefox Addon store, I've installed both the gmail and google cal addons, and only the gmail extension offers rich text notifications.

Why is this offered in one but not the other?

I also noticed that for gmail, its not offered to pick the buttons like you can in Chrome. Why is this?

Comments

  • The main reason is that Firefox does not support buttons in their rich notifications. So all these calendar notifications are relatively useless without action buttons.

  • Thanks for the very prompt response!

Would you mind putting a little note there next to the name, or in the question mark icon that shares that information?

Could save some support threads here and frustration of users.
