Feature request: On event notification window, close when selecting join with Google Meet
When clicking join with Google Meet, treat the same as clicking the check mark to close window. Currently it launches the corresponding Meet link in your default browser (using Chrome) but does not close the event notification window.

Good news v27.5 now has this feature.
Just a heads up I had to revert this default behavior and in the latest version and made it an opt in instead due to some user concerns...
