Crash Report: Clicking on CheckerPlusGoogleCalendar Icon often causes Chrome to completely Crash!

This has been happening for over one month for me.  Simply clicking on the icon in the extensions/bar causes chrome to completely crash (all open windows processes are instantly closed). This is a huge issue and makes me very uncomfortable in using this extension.  No other extension is behaving like this.  My system is Win 8.1-64 w-latest Chrome version.   I checked the console and there are no messages logged?
