XP compatibility

in Checker Plus for Google Calendar
I've just added Checker Plus for Google Calendar to my old laptop which runs Windows XP.  The Google app store says it's compatible with my device, but when I click on the extension Options I just get a non-ending busy icon. I'm signed in to Google and syncing is enabled.  Any advice?

    Sorry but my extensions use the latest technologies that need the latest OS updates and browser versions, I recommend using alternative apps that are not frequently updated.
