Uncaught TypeError (startsWith)

I got the following error. It happened when I clicked on Chrome's notification, which is configured to open the mail in a popup window. When I open the mail from the extension's icon, I don't see this error.

  • Hmm this error seems to happen for <a> links in that email which have no "href" attribute ie. url, can you validate this for me?
  • Yes, here's part of the code:

    <body lang="EN-US" link="blue" vlink="purple">
        <div class="WordSection1">
            <p class="MsoNormal" style="...">
                <a name="_MailEndCompose"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;;color:#1F497D">...<o:p></o:p></span></a></p>
  • ah excellent thank you, so indeed that <a> tag is only being used as anchor tag for scroll placement, ok I will fix this is the next update, thank you very much.
