Gmail's mute mail thread/conversation functionality

Could you please bring the mute conversation functionality that Gmail has. I would really prefer to decide to listen to a group thread/not when I receive the first mail of the conversation.

Comments

  • You can if you switch to inbox view https://jasonsavard.com/wiki/Popup_window
  • Just to clarify, by "listen", I mean getting further mails in the thread to my inbox. PFA attached a snapshot of the feature in Gmail.
  • I use the Mute fictionality very often AND I like the simplicity of the Checker Plus UI. Is there a hope that a Mute button option will be added alongside the Delete and Archive buttons?

P.S. Thanks for an awesome extension BTW, it saves me every day!

  • @Daniil Vodopian I'll take note of it, I can probably add it to the vertical menu inside the email preview.

  • Could it be an addable action button for contributors? I'd certainly make a donation to get this quick functionality, and I'd happily get rid of "Add to Calendar" or "Report Spam"

  • @Chris Shaw this feature request doesn't seem to popular, however you can hide anything with skins and themes https://jasonsavard.com/wiki/Skins_and_Themes

  • I am also a heavy user of GMail's mute functionality (use it on a daily basis). Would be really great if there would be an option to enable such button next to "Archive" button.

P.S. This is a great extension, thanks a lot for developing it.
