[Recent Tabs Ext] Ctrl+Tab doesn't get auto-assigned in Linux, and I can't assign it settings either

I installed this extension first on my MacOS. The Ctrl+Tab shortcut got assigned correctly, and I can use it without issues.
Then when I started Chrome on my Linux machine, the extension got installed automatically, but it doesn't have a Ctrl+Tab assignment. Unfortunately I can't assign it either from the UI. What do you recommend? Thanks.
