Time Icon Different then Calendar > Vancouver, Canada Time Zone?

Just recently, the time icon in the far right corner has been an hour early than what is actually in my calendar and I can't figure out why. It may have something to do with Vancouver's new time zone?

Hi Jason! Thanks for your quick reply. I've checked all the settings and everything looks good from what I can see but I'm still encountering the issue. Any other ideas what it could be?

Hmm this is most likely due to the new time zone of your area, can you try double clicking the refresh button in the extension popup window to resync and see if that helps.

Are all timed events offset by an hour?

Can you try creating a test one and verify.

It's weird because when it is less than an hour away, it appear correctly (see below two test events):

More than an hour away it displays incorrectly:

Hmm strange, generally this issue goes away on it's own around the DST change, and you've been using the extension for a while? and you just noticed this issue?

Also you are mentioning the buttons shows an offset time, how about the extension's popup calendar window, is that one also showing the offset?

Yes! I've been using this extension for like 4 years. Just noticed the change a few weeks ago and thought it would self correct at some point.

ok and how about the week/day views in my calendar are they events properly aligned with the right time there ie. below.

Sorry I meant my extension's calendar which you can normally access by clicking on the extension button, are the events in the week/day view aligned properly there?

Oh sorry! They are showing up an hour earlier too. I named them 'Test 11am' for an 11am event and 'Test 2pm' for a 2pm event.

Have you tried reinstalling the extension?

Jason Yes, I did that yesterday. Just tried again and didn't work. :(

Any chance you have another laptop or family member that could install it and see if they can replicate the issue. Then we can isolate it to your machine.

Omg I signed in on a different laptop and it was correct. So sorry! I have no idea what's wrong with my computer.
